Hello, Photoimmunotherapy is a newer type of immunotherapy and has not yet been approved for any cancer in the United States. This therapy has primarily been studied in patients with head and neck cancers (for example, those inside the mouth, throat, and voice box). Although there are ongoing clinical trials looking at other types of cancer there are currently none listed for pancreatic cancer in the NCI’s database of clinical trials at www.cancer.gov/about-cancer/treatment/clinical-trials/search.
